I understand as it took me years to lose weight and improve my health, even with the fear of illness looming over my head. I've tried so many things and searched for answers for so long that I eventually became an expert in the topic.
It isn't easy to control our eating habits and to squeeze in exercise daily. We're busy, stressed, and simply not motivated enough to make those changes.
I have heard all the obstacles that people normally face and started creating solutions through trial and error, and after years of doing this, I learned what worked. I have been able to help so many people by understanding one size doesn't fit all. We are all built differently and we are going to fail, the secret is that we learn from our mistakes and that we always get back up and try again.
Who am I to help?
I am a personal trainer and dietician for well over 10 years. I have studied at all levels including university and became certified in professional courses like Precision Nutrition, Stretch and Conditioning Association, CanFitPro, and Tactical Coaching Association, plus more.
I have also been certified and worked as a Zumba instructor, Yoga teacher, Trampoline Fitness Coach, Gymnast, and Mixed Martial Arts Instructor, plus more.
I worked as a personal trainer at big box gyms like Goodlife, Fitness is fun, and I currently run my own business. This is what I do and this is what I love.
I wanted to create an easy-to-follow workbook that will teach you the reality of creating, and more importantly, sticking to a fitness and meal plan. I know that it's expensive to hire a professional and there are so many books, programs, and courses out there offering to work miracles. My book doesn't do that, I don't believe in a plan that works for everyone, and in all my years I have never found a shortcut to health and fitness. I want to teach you how to build a plan that will work right for you by taking a realistic approach because, at the end of the day, the only plan that has ever worked is one you can follow consistently.
